We all get those emails, texts and calls from brokers that are trying to recruit you to their brokerage. These are great opportunities for you to "flip the script" and try to recruit that broker and all of their agents to eXp instead! Whenever a broker reaches out to you, agree to take the appointment.
Before your call with the broker, print out this list of questions to get answered by the broker: CLICK HERE
When you have your call with the broker:
let him/her try to pitch you!! Remember...that's why they reached out to you in the first place, so don't hy-jack the call and just start talking about eXp.
listen carefully and take notes - put your notes right on the list of questions to get answered by the broker (next to the applicable question)
don't mention anything about eXp until he/she is done with the entire presentation
When the broker has finished his/her presentation, ask permission to ask some additional questions, and then go through all of the unanswered questions on your list.
Once you're through all of your questions, you can say something like: "Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me about your brokerage, and for your interest in me. I really appreciate it. However....it doesn't make sense for me to join your brokerage - what you're offering doesn't come close to the opportunity I have with eXp. In fact, YOU should really consider partnering with us. Have you ever considered joining eXp?"
...Then follow the 5 Step Agent Attraction System
Social media is a great way for you to meet and connect with new agents. Make it a habit of connecting with a few more agents every single day.
Whenever you "mutually connect" with an agent (i.e. they follow you back on Instagram, or accept your connection request on LinkedIn), send them this message:
"Hi _______. Nice to "meet" you. Hope everything is going well. I'm making a concerted effort this year to actually connect with the people I'm connected to on social media (otherwise, what's the point, right?). Do you have a few minutes to talk this week? I'd love to get you know you and see if there's a way for us to do some business together."
Whenever you close a transaction with another agent, you should always reach out to the other agent to say congratulations, etc. Remember - this is a relationship business.
When you reach out to the other agent, you should definitely try to recruit that agent to eXp! You can say something like:
"I really enjoyed working with you on this transaction, and I'd actually like to continue doing business with you. Have you ever taken a look at eXp?"
You can also compare what you paid to eXp on the transaction vs. what they paid to their broker.
If you're unwilling/unable to speak with the other agent about eXp, I will do it for you! We don't want to miss out on opportunities like this. Just fill out this GOOGLE FORM to provide me with the info about the other agent, and I will reach out on your behalf.
If that agent joins eXp, naturally he/she will be placed under you as their sponsor.
