eXp Referral Division

eXp's Referral Division is a solution for agents who are not actively selling real estate, but would still like to be a part of eXp.

Agents at eXp's Referral Division:

May not represent clients as an agent, but are eligible to receive referral fees
May still take advantage of many of eXp's features and benefits
Are not required to be a member of a Realtor association or MLS

eXp's Referral Division part of eXp Commercial, but is available for either residential or commercial agents.

Who Should Join eXp's Referral Division:

The Referral Division is for any agents who are not using their license but want to keep it active, including but not limited to:

Agents taking a break from production (maternity, other jobs, illness, relocation, burnout)
Retiring agents who want to keep their license active
Part-time agents who only want to send referrals
Agents who move out of state but still want to send us business
Agents who want to legally earn income without being in production

What You Pay

Commission Split on Referrals

Referrals to eXp agents = 75/25

Referrals to non-eXp agents = 70/30

There is no franchise fee

Unlike eXp Realty, there is no cap, and there is no ability to earn Icon Status in eXp Referral Division.

Monthly Fee

The monthly fee at eXp's Referral Division is only $50/month

Billed automatically each month.

NO Realtor Association or MLS Dues

Members of eXp's Referral Division are not required to be a member of a Realtor association and/or an MLS

By joining eXp's Referral Division, agents can take advantage of many of eXp's key features and benefits:

Referral Fees

The licenses of agents at eXp's Referral Division are in "referral status", therefore they cannot represent clients (sellers or buyers) as their agent. However, they can send referrals to other agents (both eXp and non-eXp), and receive referral fees.

There are no requirements from eXp regarding the referral fee % to be charged - you are free to negotiate the % with the agent handling the transaction.

Training & Education

As part of eXp's Referral Division, agents get access to the extensive training and education offered to all agents at eXp.

Revenue Share $$$

Agents in the Referral Division are allowed to participate in eXp's Revenue Share program.

Revenue Share is eXp's way of rewarding its agents for helping the company grow by "sharing the wealth".

You will receive a % of the commission revenue produced by:

Agents you directly bring into the company; and/or
Agents that those agents bring into the company - up to 7 levels removed from you

You don't receive anything for just "recruiting" agents into the company - the agents in your down-line must actually produce in order for you to receive any Revenue Share.

Personal Transactions

In eXp Referral, you may represent yourself on personal transactions; however, you will not have access to the MLS, statewide forms and/or other commonly used tools. We recommend working with an active eXp agent to assist you.

This does not extend to any other family members - only personal transactions where you are a party to the transaction.

Ownership (Stock)

Any stock you previously earned in eXp Realty or eXp Commercial will carry over, however you will not earn stock while in eXp Referral Division, nor may you purchase stock at a reduced amount (no Agent Equity Program).
